Following a Directions Hearing yesterday in the County Court my case is now being switched to the Multi Track for Hearing in Cardiff High Court in due course.

The case originated as a direct result of my local Council harassing me almost immediately after my father passed away for unpaid Care Fees for my late father for the period when he was dying in Hospital and after he had died. This resulted in the Council finally following up their threats by issuing proceedings against me which I chose to ignore as I did their threatening letters. I have never ever contracted with them in these matters. Anyway they subsequently got a CCJ against me a few months back and in doing so blacked my credit rating.

I was then forced at my expense to issue an application for Judgement to be set aside and also decided what the heck if they are going to beat me into the ground for £1000 or so then I shall counterclaim them for ALL care fees paid. So I did. The judgement was set aside and my counterclaim is now in place and will be listed for hearing in due course.

I do not have any legal representation. If I lose well so be it. I have nothing to lose anyway.Nothing will turn the clock back either and make things ok for my poor Dad. He was a retired Police Officer for South Wales Police and a pensioner of the Local Authority. So nobodys safe from this lot.
